Oktoberfest in Germany

Yes it is time to raise your stein and toast to another year of amazing beer drinking in Munich Germany. The tents are up and the beer is flowing. But beer is not the only beverage in Germany.

In the book "Wine Atlas of Germany" by Dieter Braatz you will go on a beautiful tour of the country with maps and pictures and excellent commentary showing the wine country of Germany.

I have never been a huge fan of Riesling and so in the past had pretty much discounted all German wines. A couple of decades and many wine tasting events have brought me around to reconsidering this position.

First stop was the Article "The Wines of Germany 101" by Gregory Dal Piaz of Snooth.com.
