We just watched Bottle Shock for the first time this last weekend. It is a fun movie. I have always loved Alan Rickman in just about anything he does and he plays this one seemlessly. It is a very easy movie to follow – doesn’t ask you to think too hard – at the same time it is a fun depiction of a time in wine making history that put the Napa Valley ( and american wines ) on the map. Put on your favorite 70’s clothes, pick up your own copy of Bottle Shock and a case of Red Wine by Chateau Montelena (click on the label below) and have your friends over for a fun evening.
